Indian Institute of Political Empowerment-IIPE
Study of politics
Political study and involvement are essential parts of citizen’s duty and responsibility, and vital gadgets for shaping and sustenance of a nation. This is indeed different from the wrong side of political involvement, which is comprised of power thirst, power hunt, political goondaism and pathetic victimization. We have witnessed the colossal loss of social and political order, more caused by lack of right and solid involvement rather than by hyperactive and disastrous participation.
Those who are ignorant about their act and impact of negligence in democratic duties can be enlightened with due sense but those who are well educated and negligent require a special syllabus drive that could make them pensive and active. Hence, political engineering, a serious faculty of ‘destiny making’ of the nation, deserves an exhaustive, action provoking and practical curriculum, with appropriate teaching methodology.
Subjects of study
The first element of study should be the “pride’ of our tradition’s genuine face. Sense of pride had been the stimulus behind reconstruction and development of every nation.
In the pretext of tradition, irrelevances and absurdities should never be imported and implanted. The ever green valour of a glorious tradition is its interpretability and amenability to the need of any person, time and issues. Non-customized form of any system will be futile or even adverse and hence contemporary and futuristic treatment of Indian political wisdom will provide a consummate and authentic version of art of ruling. In the banner of scientific, advanced or universal views, western political and economic models are hastily imitated and adopted.
Stalwarts like Chanakya, Vidura and Shukra, clouded by the influence of western theorists like Thomas Aquinas and Niccolo Machiavelli, are less known and applied in our systems. We are also afflicted by senseless rejection syndrome, where even fertile, vital and standard thoughts are neglected only because of their alien sources. In order to overcome these flaws, a comprehensive as well as encapsulated format of syllabus is being architected.
The hidden hemisphere
Class rooms teach crude ethics, obsolete processes and prosaic principles. The real world order is different and extremely contradictory to academic exposure. The learners, who want to activate their ruling skills and, reassemble political discipline and social order, need to develop strength to face the turbulent trial and stabilize the consensus of the respondents. Exclusive training should be offered on tactics of field entry, confidence gain, endurance and immune shielding, whereas these subjects are unfelt in modern governance syllabus. Hence, a major study and scrutiny of special and complicated global case studies, and empowerment training have been incorporated in the syllabus.
Syllabus design
The syllabus is designed in three levels
a) Foundation level is for general citizens to have a thorough knowledge and action sense to plan, position and perpetuate good governance. The syllabus will comprise only the basics of the modules without projects.
b) Advance level is for social reformers, activists, academicians and N.G.Os, who form the non-participatory group of political engineers.
c) Leadership level is exclusively meant for students and aspirants of political studies and participation. Existing politicians can also be trained for ethical gain, efficiency and excellence.
Apart from the subjects, physical education, personality development, Yoga, language and speech training, computer basics, learning techniques and memory boosting are also included as ancillary disciplines.
