Dawn in the Brain

Dawn in the Brain

Life is a medley of challenges, fed along with overcoming exercises and opportunities. Knowledge acquisition empowers every holder to face challenges, flourish amidst challenges and formulate them as fuel for future fortune. It is a bitter truth that this acquisition process, institutionalized in the form of education system, meant to serve as panacea for all forms of individual and social evils, is found to be a warehouse of evils and challenges in themselves.

This has necessitated the need of process of empowerment for education before seeking the same from the system. Apart from various social, administrative and geo-cultural issues, this modern era faces greatest challenges in teaching, learning, realizing, processing, examination, competitive survival, academic ambience and placement factors. It is an undeniable fact that memory crisis serves as an indomitable crown to these predicaments and their consequential perils

Apart from provisional contingencies because of physical, mental and neural deficits and discrepancies, lack of involvement, motivation and environmental conduciveness in the students, a competency & commitment crisis in the teaching community has resulted in the disuse and misuse of memory treasure, which has contributed untold, avoidable and mitigable knowledge miseries.

Education system is parallely developing the art of memory with fascinating and advanced techniques with more rate of zeal and seriousness, than the same offered towards advancement of syllabus, development of new faculties and interdisciplinary research.

But these memory techniques have not effectively reached the needy strugglers.

Instead of memory enrichment, they prefer simplification and other shortcuts by which they prevent enhancement of caliber and performance.

These techniques are adaptable only for basic and simple learning, whereas higher studies, research and innovative divisions are orphaned without memory aid and care.

Our opulent Vedic tradition is known for its inimitable, holistic vision and version of memory engineering, which has been recently introduced as mnemonic engineering in the West. Systematic learning of this discipline may take few months. Yet in this short time span, the participants can have a complete idea of memory crisis and solutions and also can learn at least a few techniques which shall make the journey of learning tremendously relishable and highly rewarding.

In order to bring complete and consummate structure of the potential and productive memory phenomenon, Forum of Scientists Aiming at Peace and Harmony (FOSAPAH) Hyderabad is organizing a two days brain storming session embedded with exercises, practicals, self assessments and interaction, on “Mnemonic EngineeringDawn in the Brain” at Sabar Education Institution, a foundation for sports, culture and education near Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

This workshop will be conducted by Prof. Sri S.A.R.P.V Chaturvedi (sarpv.chaturvedi@gmail.com, Personal Profile, Facebook Profile), Founder and Managing Trustee of Sri Ramanuja Mission Trust
